Hello!

We hope everyone had a wonderful and restful Winter Break with your loved ones and families.
It is so hard to believe we are now starting the second half of the school year!

We are starting all new units in 3rd grade in subjects. In Math, we are beginning our fractions unit. In Social Studies, we are learning about famous historical people such as Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglass, and Mary McLeod Bethune. In Writing, we are beginning our Narrative writing unit. In Reading, we are focusing on the sequencing of events such as beginning, middle, and end of a story.

Please continue to encourage your child to read each night and complete their math homework sheets. These are so important to help your child grow and succeed academically! :)

Important Dates:
January 6: Report Cards Sent Home
January 18: MLK Holiday, No School
